A new service, the EPM Academy, has been launched to help businesses and public sector organisations navigate the complex landscape of grant funding.
The online platform, developed by European grant funding experts, aims to simplify the process of identifying and applying for UK and international grants.
The EPM Academy provides a valuable resource for a wide range of entities, including start-ups, micro businesses, SMEs, large corporations, local authorities, regional development agencies, and universities. It offers industry-specific advice for sectors such as MedTech, Low Carbon, and AI, along with broader questionnaires on topics like De Minimis Aid and SMART grants. Users can also access detailed funding maps and downloadable guides for an in-depth understanding of available opportunities.
Director’s Insight on the Platform’s Launch
Kathy Vuillaume, Director of EPM Academy, expressed enthusiasm about the new service. “We’re really pleased to be able to offer this valuable resource. The grant funding landscape can be a minefield, with so many different funding pots available. Many organisations don’t know where to start or are put off by the red tape and paperwork that they think is involved.
“Our new EPM Academy helps to break down those barriers and provides a starting point for organisations looking to fund a new project or expand their business. And if they need hands-on help with putting together a funding bid, then our team of experts are here to help.”
Wide Range of Funding Opportunities
The platform highlights the diversity of available grant funding, from small localised grants for business support or marketing advice to substantial innovation funding pots for new products and machinery. It also covers significant European funding opportunities, such as the multi-billion Horizon programme, which remains accessible to UK businesses despite Brexit.
Kathy Vuillaume noted, “It is not well-known that despite the changes with Brexit, UK businesses are still able to access some European funding pots. The Horizon project is one such fund – billions of pounds are available for projects that meet the criteria. Our new EPM Academy can help you to find out if your business is eligible to bid for some of the funds.”
The EPM Academy is the latest initiative from EPM Consultancy, a firm with offices in Horsham, West Sussex, and Montpellier, France. The consultancy is staffed by a team of funding and project management experts from across Europe and specialises in maximising EU and UK funding opportunities for organisations. Their services also include managing grant-funded programmes, securing funding, providing evaluation services with summative assessment, and offering bespoke training and online events.
