HR Technologies UK has confirmed its lineup of speakers for the 2025 event, set to take place at ExCeL London on 23-24 April. Now in its third year, the event brings together HR professionals, technology providers and industry experts to discuss the latest trends shaping the future of work.
Attendees will have the opportunity to explore new HR technology solutions, gain insights into evolving workplace challenges and connect with industry leaders. The event will be co-located with Learning Technologies, a long-established gathering organised by CloserStill Media. In 2024, Learning Technologies attracted over 11,000 visitors, 200 exhibitors and 200 speakers.
Nicki Morris, Group Event Director at HR Technologies UK, emphasised the event’s role in supporting HR professionals. “HR Technologies UK 2025 is a critical gathering for HR professionals to equip themselves with the knowledge and tools to shape the future of work. Our speaker lineup reflects the dynamism and complexity of the HR landscape, and we want attendees to leave with actionable insights to drive success in their organisations.”
Day 1: Workplace Trends, Skills and Leadership
Christine Armstrong, author and founder of Armstrong & Partners, will open the event with an exploration of the latest workplace trends and their implications for HR professionals. Joeli Brearley, founder and CEO of Pregnant Then Screwed, will then address the issue of the “Motherhood Penalty”, providing strategies for organisations to support working parents.
Skills development will be a key theme of the day, with David Perring (Chief Insights Officer, Fosway Group), Fiona Orchard (Head of HR, CloserStill Media) and Derek Bruce (Leadership & Culture Manager, Tesco) discussing workforce agility. Later, Bob Rehill, founder and CEO of Cintriq, will outline how HR leaders can secure organisational buy-in for change initiatives.
Charlotte Johns, Global Head of Talent & Communications at Elida Beauty, will examine employee engagement during times of transition. A session led by Amber Panting (Head of People, Wolf and Badger) and Steven Kang (GM EMEA, Lattice) will explore how managers can create high-impact teams. Closing the day, Ben Eubanks, CEO of Lighthouse Research & Advisory, will present five key indicators of HR’s future direction.

Day 2: AI, Inclusion and the Future of Recruitment
The second day will open with David Wilson, CEO of Fosway Group, discussing the impact of AI and innovation on HR strategy. His session will provide insights into emerging technologies and their role in shaping HR systems in 2025.
Inclusion and diversity will also be a focus, with Jamie Dapaah (Inclusion Manager, Fulham FC) and Sarah Reynolds (Chief Marketing Officer, HiBob) presenting a case study on how Fulham FC is advancing representation and retention within its workforce.
The event will close with a session from Katrina Collier, author and facilitator, who will examine the evolving relationship between AI and recruiters. In “AI vs. Recruiter: Will You Win?”, attendees will explore how recruitment professionals can adapt to technological change.
